Therapy for Individuals
Life is full of challenges that are difficult to navigate alone. As your therapist, I am here to help you with any issues you bring forward. Together, we will come up with individualized solutions to your problems and find ways for you to achieve your goals.
How Long Does Therapy Last?
Typically, I see patients once a week for 45–55 minute sessions. The healing process is dynamic—therapy can be short or long-term, depending on your needs. When it comes down to it, I will work with you for as long as it takes to solve your problems. And if you think of new goals, you can always come back.
What to Expect During Therapy?
Going to therapy is not like seeing a medical doctor. Though I can provide you with the methods and tools you need to deal with issues, you also have to be willing to put in the work. Therapy does not stop outside of sessions, and completing homework assignments is part of the process. Achieving real results requires your active participation.
Therapy is rarely easy. In order to adequately address issues, we have to take a closer look at them. Sometimes this involves bringing up unpleasant topics that might make you uncomfortable. It may cause sadness, guilt, or anger. Though it is essential to face your emotions, you do not have to do it alone. No matter what, I will be here to help you work through complicated feelings and piece together a solution that works for you.
